The Company

Walking on Air was established in 2001 to provide quality, affordable podiatric care to our customers. Initially started as a mobile service, demand was so great that in July 2002 we moved into a small clinic allowing us to maximise the number of patients treated and expand the range of services offered.

The combination of quality, affordable care along with the friendly, professional service given soon meant that our customer base grew and grew and we needed to find larger premises. In June 2003 we moved to a beautiful grade II listed private building which gave us 3 treatment rooms, a waiting room, private parking facilities and full washroom facilities. Through word of mouth our customer base has grown and grown and we now have over 1500 patients on our books.

 The Gosport Clinic is run by Natasha D. Townsend SRCh, BSc (Hons), MChs,HPC registered.

Natasha qualified from The Department of Podiatry at The University of Brighton in June 1997 with a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Podiatry, the standard required for State Registration in the United Kingdom. This qualification is a mandatory requirement for employment within the National Health Service and also includes a licence to administer local anaesthesia. After qualifying, Natasha spent two years working for Scholls, honing her patient skills, before setting up on her own in the Podiatry field, specialising in nail surgery.

She has combined her private work over the years with spells in the National Health Service working for Haslar Hospital, Gosport War Memorial and the Portsmouth NHS trust.

It is a recommendation of Natasha’s skills and abilities that her patients she treated eight years ago still insist on her doing their feet.
